EUROPEAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT Mini Session march 07, 2018
Should same sex marriage be made legal in all EU member states? Does the EU have a say in the conflict between Spain and Catalonia? Should education systems be harmonized within the EU? What about legalizing drugs?
These were some of the questions fervently debated during this year’s EYP Mini Session at our school when students from Lessinggasse (7BH, 8AH) teamed up with students from various Viennese secondary school to discuss current political issues. Guided by experienced EYP chairs, each of the five committees first got to know each other through team building activities, then worked on drafting a resolution on their topic which was then presented and put up for discussion in the assembly.
